Is it permissible to leave the main power switch on my Qu16 in the “on” position and power on and off from my UPS backup power switch? I would continue to use the shutdown feature on the touch display to ensure the system is ready for “”physical “ shutdown…

I have operated this way using a power conditioner for 3 years.

I also power on from a switch on my power conditioner. To power off, I use the touchscreen, then shut the power conditioner switch.

Yes, you can leave the physical power switch ON if you like.

Just be sure to “soft shutdown” before powering OFF.

I leave it on 24/7 along with the WiFi Router (for iPad) so that the unskilled church folks are ready to go. The only thing that turns it on or off is power outages. The rest of the system wireless systems and power amps get shut down and off with the main power cutoff sequencer.
