Hi. Qu5D… can I connect the mixer in such a way to transmit/receive midi without a PC (USB or LAN) ?

You can use BomeBox which is a hardware Midi Translator Pro box. You need a computer running Midi TP to create the translation files, but once uploaded the BomeBox becomes stand alone.
The BomeBox has Din,USB and network connectivity, I use USB midi keyboard to produce Midi over TCIP network to my SQ Rack, with my BomeBox. I have also experimented with QU5D, CQ18T, Avantis and AHM mixers, all work fine.

Hello. Check my post here, at the end of the topics, last post, I have create a Midi Bridge for the CQ, not sure it will work with the Qu but it might be that some midi control are the same.
