I found a this odd behavior recently. On channel 12, audio signal routes properly to Mix Out 15/16 ( the main mix), but does not pass audio to mixes 1-6.
I have made sure Mixes 1-6 are set to pre-fader, and the master is up for each.
I have also updated to the latest firmware, 1.1.3, but the issue persists.
It only appears to be a problem on channel 12. All of the other channels respond normally.
It’s always possible there’s a bug somewhere or something wrong at a very low level – but I find it suspicious that it doesn’t work with the mono mixes but it does with the stereo mixes. If you sent it to mix 7 and then toggle the mix configuration from stereo to mono, do you observe the same problem but only when in mono mode?
If so, I’d suggest that you have a stereo signal with identical contents on L and R with opposite polarities that is being summed to a null mono. How exactly that’s happening would be a lot less clear. Something inserted on that input channel?
100% speculation of course, but at least it’s one diagnostic step you could try that might tell you something more than you know now.
