In the IO page, there’s a handy option to have a ‘patch’ button on screen that needs to be simultaneously pressed with an axual patch box. This is a very useful way of building in a safety net without necessarily slowing down the user.
One thing that has annoyed me from the start on Avantis, is the touch and hold safety net feature for the 48V. It’s needlessly slowing down the pro, just because there are also amateurs possibly opperating those consoles. How about you apply something similar to the IO page for the preamp section and perhaps some grid like view where one could enable 48V for multiple channels quickly also while holding down a safety button?
Seems like a better way to go about this than the touch and hold way.
