Why not save your setup into multiple scenes, then go back and change the FX on a scene by scene basis as needed. Then save back into that scene. Its a hack, but seems like it would do what you’re asking.
Not really. I want to get to the venue, set my levels and then be able to use the scenes as fx presets without disturbing the levels I set…
That’s why I suggested saving the final setup with all your set levels into several different scenes, and then edit each one for your FX changes. Then you can change scenes to change FX.
Having to save multiple scenes per every time I set set up is exactly what I’m trying to avoid. I have already done exactly as you suggested and it is not an efficient solution. Having flexible “safes” is… Perhaps you don’t gig out often as a drummer, but saving time when setting up (not to mention tearing down, but that’s a different topic) is important…
I did say it was a hack. I’m not against safes; I use them on my SQ. I have both a band and a busy sound company, so I do understand the benefits of an efficient setup. BTW, I did upvote this.
