Our 10 year old Behringer X32 has better channel library functionality than our new Avantis ver 1.34. It would be really nice to have a channel library assignment similar to the strip assignment screen. You could see all your channel library entries on top and you’d just drag them down to the channels you want to assign them to on the bottom. It could even have safes to keep selected values intact.

Yes please. Having just added an Avantis, I’m shocked that this functionality wasn’t added. I use it in D.Live daily and not having the ability to recall names and other parameters on Avantis was surprising.
Both consoles lack the ability to recall digital trim which is also a much needed feature.
New to Avantis, but not new to A&H. I don’t understand why we can’t truly copy/paste ALL ch parameters; it doesn’t make sense! It’s like copy/pasting a paragraph in MS Word and having to reformat afterwards. A&H, please correct ASAP!! Though yesterday would’ve been better. Sigh.
If you understand the workflow behind it, it makes totally sense.
Making the entire channel as the default copy/paste target will introduce a lot of problems audible for all. Remember phantom power switching…
The implementation from the dLive is going in the right direction.
But to keep routing and processing separated is a very good idea.
