I would like to +1 this one. I can see some instances where I may not be in front of the console but need to cut power and want to make sure the board is in a safe state. There are also situations where integration into a broader system control setup (ie: Q-Sys or other management tooling) would be useful.
This is a much needed feature for the install market. I often want to put the console on power modules that are sequenced and controlled by a control system (Crestron, QSC, Extron, etc). This allows users to have a one button control to turn on and off the entire system.
For education and house of worship markets, if I don’t control the power the console typically gets left on forever. If I do control the power, then the system is not shut down correctly.
