request for a "digi studio" support car

Hello everyone

I work as sound engineer in a free lance way and i just order my personnal SQ5. Really happy for that.
I would use in my home studio and propably for small jobs.

I post here to suggest A&H to create a new expansion card for the sq serie.
SQ is great for the price but on my way, an openning to the “classics” digitals prototcol of the studio should be an uge improvement.
What i mean by classics digitals protocols is AES/EBU, adat and wordclock.
A car with an in/out AES/EBU, 2 adat in/out and a single BNC for word clock should be perfect.

Today, plugins are everywhere, but the hardware treatment is still use in liveband and studio. I’d love to use a reveb processor on AES, use my favorite preamp/converter with my SQ or share my wordclock with it.

Hope someone at A&H hear my voice…

Best option to look for dante or madi card.

Both protocols have converters to adat and aes.

Madi card and something of rme would do the trick i think.

You can’t expect from a&h to support an almost obsolete adat protocol.

Perhaps you’re right.

My problem is the price of this solution. 700e for the card, 1000 euros for the converter.

I’m pretty sure i’m not the only one who’s ready to pay for a card like this
