I am looking for assistance with AHM Device Control option.
I have a NovaStar VX400 Pro LED Processor with its TCP/IP command protocol, and I would like to control it directly from an Allen & Heath AHM-32.
My objective is to use AHM IP6 to send TCP commands to the NovaStar processor for functions such as switching between input sources (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3), recalling presets, and other processor controls.
Could anyone provide guidance or an example configuration for implementing this integration?
Thank you for your support. I look forward to your guidance.
To add to your comment, they might be more willing to send it directly to you, rather than sending it through a “randomer”, so perhaps if the OP raised a ticket with your support, and got a ticket number, they could get NovaStar to send the protocol over, if they are willing, referencing that ticket number so you are aware as to what their mail is regarding.
Or…
Are either of these documents what you require?
Thanks for the replies. I have received the protocol documentation from NovaStar, and I am able to switch inputs using both IP Control and Device Control with the IP6.
The only support I need is understanding how to make the IP6 soft key colors change based on the selected input. For example, when switching between HDMI1, HDMI2, SDI, etc., how can the corresponding soft key change color to indicate the active input?
