I’m have a QU-SB with QuPad. I’m recording a vocalist to my DAW. I want them to be able to have reverb in their monitor. I want to record dry. I also want to record with reverb applied, but on a separate channel, so that I can mix the wet in later.
To add the verb to a monitor mix is just like adding any input to a mix, go to the FX returns, select the mix that is feeding the monitors and then bring up the fader on the FX return that has the verb you want to put in the monitors.
As for adding verb to the multitrack recording, generally there is no need to track and record a reverb return. During the post production mix down any verb or FX would be added to the needed channels using the FX sends on the multi track playback channels just like
you would if mixing live.
I’d just like to point out that there were (at least) two spam posts in this thread, as well as other threads.
Steffen & I pointed them out with by posting, I also DM’d one of the A&H team, so now they’ve been removed, but our posts have stayed. This rather makes it look as though we were saying previous legitimate posts were spam, but we really weren’t!
I’d suggest that maybe those two posts, and the others relating to them (and now this one), should go too?
