Can we get a LIBRARY option for the Dyn8 please?
To be able to save the Dyn8 settings for different vocalists (for example) would be most convenient

I also like the DCA meter option as some have suggested. Yes, we all know that there is no audio passing through the DCA. But to see the overall input level of the instruments in that DCA would be really helpful in most situations

This type of library was introduced on the DLive system with its 2.0 firmware. So hopefully Avantis will see this in a future feature update.

This already exists; it’s just hidden. Hold the Options button and then tap anywhere inside the Dyn8 instance to access the library.

Yeah, it’s not even described in the manual (“firmware reference guide”). You can see screenshots of the process in this post.

I knew about it, but it took a while.
By the way, there’s no copy functionality for the Dyn8 as there is with the EQ and Dynamics slots, afaik. Work around: Keep a user preset called ‘a copy’ (or whatever makes it appear at the top of your list) and use that to copy settings between instances.

For some reason the copy function doesn’t work from the main “Bank” screen (you can’t tap the small “DYN8” icon in the insert block to copy), but copy does work if you open the DYN8 instance in the “Processing” view.

interesting, thanks! I’m guessing this is a relatively new improvement because I remember getting the ‘copy library’ idea from someone else when I asked about this very issue. In any case, the simple copy functionality is much welcomed.
