Scene filters seem to change 'on their own'.

I’ve noticed a fez times that scenes on my template file have faulty filters.
It’s possible that it’s been my fault EACH time, but I’m starting to suspect the scene filters can change due to some factors.
I haven’t tested it yet, but things I’m considering are:

  • firmware updates
  • show changes as the template goes from versio A to Z.
  • mixer config changes

To make things clear, I’ve noticed this problem on two sets of scenes.
-scenes to change the function of the custom rotaries and ONLY those.
-scenes I have to change the brightness of the screen,LEDs and ONLY those.

When I set those scenes up, I put time and effort in to make sure they had the correct filters to only recall what I wanted them to recal.
It’s possible that this is still my own error, but I’m wondering if people recognise this issue.

Should I re-check recall filters every time I change my template? Everytime I update the firmware? Everytime I change mixer config? (that last one probably seems like a good idea)

I just noticed I had the problem on scenes I’d use to change my vocal reverb preset too.
This kind of stuff makes me afraid of using scenes and reminds me of why I tend to avoid using them at all cost.

on my screen/LED brightness somehow the preamps of some input channels were being recalled. I certainly didn’t deliberately turn those on.
Perhaps I ‘created’ some stereo channels somewhere down the line and those channels defaulted to ‘allow’?
Probably.

So I guess here’s a note to myself and to whom it may concern: If you change anything about your session configuration, recheck all your scene filters!
