Hi,
Last week i had an issue that than i route input channel sends prefader on aux/mtx busses and change the volume with my channel fader that the incoming gain (6-10db) on the busses changes despite its prefader.
Check your overall patching. Usually this happens when something is inadvertently double patched (and that second patch is set up for post fader).
