Hi,
I want to hear the Main Out (PA sound) also in Output 2 for monitoring.
Is that possible? If so, how can I achieve this?

Not in front of mine at the moment but this should be possible on the output config screen. You should be able to choose the “source” for the headphone outputs or the alt out jacks (on CQ 20). I believe the main output shows up as an available source (as would listen and the output busses).
I also want to do the same thing: monitor the main mix L R through one or more of the 1/4 Outputs (1 to 6 on my CQ12).
I can’t find a way to choose the ‘source’, as was suggested by mfusa. Maybe I’m missing something…?
Hi,
It is not possible to send the main mix to the other outputs as the main LR mix runs in parallel to the other outputs in the core (rather than before/after).
What you can do however, is set the output to be post fader in the config screen.
If you then set all channel sends to 0dB, that output mix will follow the levels going to LR.
An added benefit of this is that you have separate output processing and overall level control for just that output.
Thanks,
Keith.
Keith, that is a neat work around for creating a bit of a MainLR matrix to Out 1-6, thank you!
Just as a point of clarification in my post previously is that I was stating it is possible to chose MainLR as a source for Alt Out A+B (on a CQ20) and the headphone jack(s). The original poster didn’t indicate which CQ they had so I wasn’t sure which options they had available to them. You are able to send MainLR to these outputs, right?
Thanks again for the additional tip.
Thanks for the quick response Keith.
Works like a charm, the CQ12 is just fabulous. Bravo A&H.
Hi Keith
Would this also send reverb/effects to the selected output?
Thanks

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the idea but it’s not working here, The post-fader is only for the main LR fader so it won’t affect the channels.
I was very excited & tried it the hard way, on a live job & it didnt do the job, The only way is to copy the same level of the faders as you have it in the main.
They should fix this asap so I can use the 6 outputs as a matrix.
Thanks

Unfortunately no, it does not send the effects.
Yes, Thanks @keithjah ,
Great workaround, this is what I tried this morning…
I just bought a 12T and 18T for this exact feature! But got a bit disappointed.
I wanted to have my Main LR go to PA for the audience in the venue, but also have an exact copy post-AMM to go to my live switcher for live stream.
So there is no way to have an exact copy of the Main LR go to secondary outputs for a video switcher, post AMM?
This is a very important feature for small footprint AV work without using a second mixer…
If not;
Questioning conventional practices is a habit that triggers Narcissistic personality disorders in some folks. With that said I am certain a serious review of console priorities and their probable benefits is a timely discussion within this thread.
Most Church services would be well advised to provide a Mono Aux feed for all SR speaker systems while isolating advanced post production embellishment to the main LR designation for broadcast streaming.
It is important to weigh the risk/benefit differences in these actitives: A Church congregation has a defined limited number of participants, but the internet Broadcast stream has unlimited potential possibilities: dependent upon the performance quality of the service and the broadcast production technical quality.
