Separate mix for my in-ears

Hi everyone,

I recently got a for a try out :face_with_tongue: CQ-12T mixer and need help setting up a separate mix for my in-ears. On my previous SQ-5, I could copy channels and assign them to different aux outputs, creating an independent mix from the main output.

Is this possible on the CQ-12T? Or do I need another method, like signal splitting? Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Normally, you wouldn’t need to “copy” channels for an additional mix on the SQ either.
You’d only need to do this if you really need different EQ and dynamic settings for each channel in the main LR and your in-ear mix.

However, with the CQ, you can’t patch input jacks to two channels.
So you’d really have to split all affected channels before the inputs.

Does this procedure on Fader window not work for you?

If you want to send the “Guitar” with separate EQ and compressor settings to Main LR and “Bob”, it won’t work that way.
You would need two independent input channels for that.
