Hi Phill,

We do not have an ETA for the SLink release at the moment, but it will require some major work under the hood in the SQ firmware.
(originally, multiple cards for different protocols were planned, but we decided a second SLink port would be much better!).
This work is due for V1.3, so unfortunately the card will not be available for a few months yet.

Not at all, the Dante and Waves cards will be released shortly!
Sorry - I should have been more clear. The ‘multiple cards for different protocols’ was referring to GigaACE/DX/dSnake/ME.

Which cards are planned additionally? Waves, SLink, Dante… Madi? AES? maybe a Harddrive for recording? Maybe additional core power?

Still waiting to hear about MADI card for SQ. Any news? Please don’t drop this card…

Hi. I would like to make the following setup.
SQ6 FOH with waves card.
SQ6 Monitor linked with SQ6 FOH over UTP with an additional Slink Option Card.
If i dont use my DX168 and put physical intupts on stage SQ6 can i connect ME-1 to my second Slink option Card?

I’ve responded to your direct email about this, but for anybody else looking at a similar setup:

The following is fine -

SQ (FoH) Waves Card <—> Waves server/SoundGrid network
SQ (FoH) SLink port <—> SQ (Monitor) SLink port
SQ (Monitor) SLink card —> ME-1

There is also a lot of useful information about SLink connections in the following document (https://www.allen-heath.com/media/SLinkConnections_V1_3_0.pdf).
