SLink Field Recorder

Imagine an SQ Rack but with only the SQ touchscreen, 2 rotary controllers and 2 soft keys.

On the back is an SLink I/O, a USB B connector (for use as DAW interface mode) and a USB-C connector for hard drives.

On the front is a headphone output.

Essentially this device allows you to use your DX168(s) as a field recorder to external hard drive or to a laptop.

The screen allows you to set gains and create a simple headphone mix / PAFL for checking inputs. No processing needed and outputs to the USB ports would be at tie line level, post preamp.

It should be no bigger than a standard 8 channel field recorder such as a Zoom F8N or Spund Devices Mix Pre.
