I would like to not safe channels and create two scenes to turn off inserts on my channels when it would be so much faster and easier to have it as a soft button option. this feels easy to add.

+1 for the ability to have a soft key to bypass insert(s). Typical use case, I might be using Defeedback and the host might have a stability problem, so I need to bypass it immediately.
