Soft Keys & "Select All" Buttons

After using the SQ5 for quite some time, there are a couple things I would love to see as potential features and upgrades:

  • Soft Keys - Right now, the soft keys can be programmed to do a lot, but if there were an option for personalized soft keys as a quick reference to where you might need it (i.e. on an FX setting window, a GEQ page, Shows/Scene saving, etc). To have the option to be able to assign a random, but often visited, window to any soft key would make the flexibility of the SQ series even better.

  • “Select All” button - In the mute groups or DCA selection screens, there is no way to quickly select all channels. Every one of us sets up a “HOLY CRAP” button on our mixer as a fail safe, in case things go sideways quickly. It gives you that backup option for safety. However, selecting EVERY channel can take a long time. If there was a “Select All” Option on the top of any Mute Group or DCA selection screen, that would make life even better.

  • (For kicks) FX & Group Soft Key Changes - There are times when I am only running the FOH send and I don’t need all of the AUX buttons to be assigned to an Aux. I would love to be able to switch the function of those soft keys to add more FX send buttons for channels 5-8. Rather than having to route via the sends and returns, it would be great to have assignable FX sends on those channels when the opportunity presents itself.

yesterday i wanted to make a softbutton to toggle on/off for a send of a specific channel to a bus, and i don’t think it is possible at the moment. i have to go to the routing screen for that specific channel and toggle the virtual button on the touchscreen. which is a bummer.
i realized once again, that on an sq6 i have almost 20 “user assignable soft buttons”, but apart from mutegroups there’s nothing practical i would asign them to :frowning:
it would be nice to have the option to toggle stuff with them that is possible to do with the console anyway, like sends per channel.
(yeah i get it, i could split that channel, add that to a mutegroup, and send from there, but.. yeah. thanks.)
