Hey all. I have an 8 year old DLive S5000. Some of the soft touch buttons are getting a little slow to respond from regular use. (The talkback, Home button, an assigned tap delay button to name a few). I reassign the customizable soft touch to reduce the use on any one button. Are there any other fixes? Are the soft touch replaceable? I appreciate any help and insight.
Contact the service center for your region. They should be able to tell you if parts are available and where to get them.
It looks like the switches are made of rubbery membranes over printed circuit board contacts. My best guess is that the conductive material embedded in the membrane is getting worn out.
