It would be nice if you could safe „views“ on softkeys,
Like it was on nearly every yamaha console!
One touch to open clmp, gate, geq, whatever! We had the select button on the gld, but what are all these nice buttons for, if you can only tapspeed on them…
Every option fixed on one channel is an very poor feature: for example „level up“ and „level down“ can only target defined faders, why not selected faders, or even „selected fader right screen“ and „selected fader left screen“
Even an „open comp/gate/geq on selected fader“ would be really handy!!!
But don‘t forget the Home-Button!
Just a short Idea: Would be nice to use the “view” Button, by pressing 2 times fast to clear the screen next to it, back to “Bank” overview. Such a clear button as userbutton would still be a great thing, but the viewbutton is already there (and not very important for it’s actual use alone)

Go to specific Scene softkey
Needing to keep surface of GLD 40 locked dpwn, but need to access softkeys to change scheduled setups without making other modifications. Is that possible? If so, please explain like you are talking a chimpanzee through the process.
