Solo in Place - Destructive Soloing

The PAFL section of the GLD 80 hasn’t quite sunk in yet, despite reading through the documentation several times.

I’d like to know how I can conduct a ‘Solo In Place’ on individual channel strips while running the audio through the mains. Probably a simple solution but I could use some suggestions.

I found a fix that works fine for my needs. Just a mouse click to solo the channel from within the DAW. So obvious. Couldn’t see the forest through the trees.
