That really would be a strong Feature and would perfectly meet my workflow. Yes, I know, there are several cons on that Topic - i.e. the risk of touching SIP instead of PAFL while the band performs on stage… but… to be honest… digital technology should find a proper way to make that thing bulletproof…

What would make it fool proof would have the SIP part of a “rehearse” mode.

Well, on a hardwarebasis, one could use two buttons instead of one - i.e. for SIP, you have to hold one of the softkeys on the right PLUS hit the PAFL of the desired channel.
Another way could be a complete SIP-Mode you have to activate for soundcheck. While this mode is active, the colorscheme on the Display an in the naming strip should be different. just slightly, but notable. Half on half instead of full Colors - as an example.
Any other ideas?
