Hi!
Would be great if there would be an action and/or soft button option to spill a specific DCA.

There is already a softkey option to spill a specific DCA onto the surface. Using this functionality means you don’t have to have the DCA fader located on the surface, thereby freeing up a channel “slot”.
How can I spill a specific DCA with a soft button? Can’t find it in the list.

Mix Button of that specific DCA
I asked for a soft button. For the mix button I have to have the DCA on surface.

Assign the MIX button to a softkey. It does what you want.
It didn’t in director, but I will try on the surface.
It does the same in Director.
There is a global switch to enable DCA spill or not. If that is off, no DCA will spill the channels.
Ahh, that’s the trick. Thanks!
An option to enable DCA spill along with that mix button would be cool. Like that one soft button could always spill.
Put the enable button on a softkey.
Yeah, thanks. xD
That would be two soft buttons then. With an “with dca spill enable” option, it would always spill with one button.
The two button solution enables the quick edit of the DCA group channels. Just disable the spill, and you are able to control the channels that are part of the DCA group. And you don’t need the DCA fader on the surface.
I don’t need DCA assignments during a show. What would be handy is a one button solution to always spill a DCA. An option button on the mix enable to also enable spill would provide that without affecting any other functionality.
Why can’t you leave the DCA spill functionality turned on all the time? It only spills when you press the “Mix” button on the DCA fader (or press a custom key that you have set up with this functionality). IMHO, under normal situations there is really no need to keep turning the spill functionality on/off.
It cost me a soft button.
What cost you a soft button? Again, why don’t you just leave the DCA spill function turned “on” all the time?
I need to assign a soft button to spill enable to leave it on. Or is there another way to set spill enable?
Just turn the spill functionality on in the settings and leave it turned on. You do not need to assign the “DCA Spill” functionality to a softkey unless you want a quick way to toggle the spill functionality on/off during an event. Honestly I can’t even think of a reason why it would be needed to toggle it on/off with a softkey, but obviously someone has a use case for it which is why A&H offers it. But I would never need to use a softkey for this functionality given my current work flow.
Totally missed that button on the spill page…
That’s perfectly fine like that, thanks a lot! Case closed.
