I’ve had a few instances of an SD card getting the tiny slider repeatedly pushed to the write lock position when inserted into my CQ20B. This blocks recording, formatting, etc.
Any way to fix this… I assume a tight tolerance?
It seems to effect different SD cards from same manufacturer. I have to hunt around for another SD.
The write lock switch/slider on the SD card should be flush with the edge of the main body of the card so this can’t happen.
If this is the case with the cards you are using and the SD card socket of the CQ is still catching, then check carefully there is no damage to the socket - including the chassis cutout and the metal sleeve inside.
If you think there is mechanical damage, then please contact your local distributor to have this checked and sorted out - https://www.allen-heath.com/community/distributors/
