In the config page, USB/SD/BT tap, there is the “Source point” selection.
What does “Post Insert Return” mean exactly ?

Take also a look at the block diagram.
“Post Insert Return” passes the first processing components, but not, for example, the EQ and compressor.

So an FX, if in insert mode, can be recorder in the DAW.
