Sq 5 to stage box threw fiber and fiber media converter

I am trying to use my SQ5 and dx stage box threw a fiber cable using media converter but the desk wont see the the stage box. is there anyway to make this work?

Dante works. Use two managed switches with fiber to Cat adapters.

DX is working as well. You need to ensure some things. That’s it.

And DX is much faster than Dante with switches.

Is ethernet not an option? Two less points of failure / conversion / latency.

It’s all about Ethernet components together with DX and S-Link. Optical transmission is a standard Ethernet technology.

OK, copper. Slink isn’t ethernet.
