SQ drive doesn´t play some wav-files

I´ve got a complete Album CD ripped down to *.wav with 44.1kHz/16bit, in whole the album included 14 tracks, but on SQ-Drive in SQ5 only 10 tracks appear, although the USB-Stick shows and play all 14 tracks on WIN10 … what´s the problem?

Hi!

Please forward a link to the tracks that aren’t working to support@allen-heath.com and I’ll take a look at why you’re seeing this.

Thanks!
Alex

Hi Alex,

I sent you the files via wetransfer.com

thank you

I have a similar USB slick problem. Having bought one of the recommended stick (scandisk extrreme pro), formatted ok and I loaded 8 wav files. The sq drive only finds and reads one in the playback area. If I record the file from phone into the SQ it records and then plays back from the recorded section no problem. On checking the one file that the SC does play, it claims to have a bit rate of 705 kbps whereas all the others are 1411 kbps. Resampling the 1411 k files down to 705k doesnt make any diference, SQ drive doesnt find them. - any ideas to help me ? Wav’s that played fine on the QU24, dont work even when transferred onto the SQ play folder

Ok - progress - have just ripped one of my own cd’s using Ashampoo and PC dvd drive and the result is available on SQ drive . Seems something in the conversion process of some software creates (headers??) something the SQ doesnt like but which the QU’s did. Glad to have sorted, just now concerned about the amount of realtime ripping I may have to do to replace the QU usb interval drive library !!
