Hello, can we finally transfer Customs Layers from MixPad to SQ?
Thank you
Yes, we can!
In MixPad (and not just since 1.6.0), you can offline create or edit shows with Custom Layers and push them to your SQ using “Push Show.”
It might be helpful to use a standard show you’ve already created on the SQ as a base and pull it to the MixPad using “Pull Show.”
If you’re running MixPad on a PC, you can also save shows there, which you can then later load onto your SQ via USB stick.
You can find more information about this in MixPad itself, among other places, under “Help.”
So the magic word is “Offline Mode.”
And before you ask when we can finally transfer them online:
At least so far, the intention is that the layers on the console always has priority and should not be easily changed online.
But then will Pull/Push Show replace the entire Show present with all the scenes included in the show just to modify a few layers in a scene?
Yes.
You can “load” your existing show into the editor using Pull Show, change only the layers, and then “save” it back to the console using Push Show – including all existing scenes.
You can in the MixPad editor also “Go” a single scene of your show, change the layers there, and “Store” it as a new scene, or overwrite the old one.
And on a PC you can also “Store” the complete show or scene and “Recall” it back later (without accessing the console) to continue editing it.
