Is it possible to have the SQ Mixpad app also on iPhone ?
On Android I see it available. Is there a technical restriction for Iphone ?
Or at least to have an minimal control for the Main LR avoidable for Iphone.
Mute and Volume control for each channel, and Volume control for the Main LR is fine by me.
I can work also with an modified / extended version of SQ4YOU, but for the Main LR.
It would be very helpfull to have that minimal control of the channel, when you are not near the console.
Yes, it’s a technical restriction - SQ-MixPad is designed for tablet and desktop use but it is cross platform, and automatically resizes to fit the screen.
Apple have a ‘minimum widget size’ which means SQ-MixPad cannot be made available for iPhone.
Google/Android have no such restriction.
We would not want to allow control of the LR mix from SQ4You, as there is far too much potential for disaster!

Yes, definitely I don’t want that everybody who has acces to SQ4YOU to control my Main LR.
What I was saying, that can be an app even that simple like SQ4YOU.
I don’t need to control all the settings of the channel, like Compression, FX, routing, and all other.
Just Volume and a Mute is enough in my opinion.

This allows you to create individual layouts to suit your needs - even for your iPhone (an example in the picture).
These are also much easier to use than a MixPad on a 6" screen.
While there’s nothing wrong with most vendor apps for mixer control, they often limit the platforms they support and focus on what they see as the key platforms. Makes commercial sense and hits the majority of users.
