I am doing Monitors at a Metal fest on SQ6. As you can imagine, it’s LOUD. The bands all love the crystal clear 96k sound, and the people on in-ears are really appreciating the low latency.
Some ideas:
-
Ganging OUTPUTS. We have 6 monitors across the front, each on its own amp channel for better stability at high volume. It’d be rad to be able to gang them into different mixes: e.g. Mix 1 on three speakers for one band, three individual mixes for another, Mix 1 and 4 getting the same mix, etc. I know I can patch them, but ganging is so much more efficient, and helps with making EQ changes to all wedges to compensate for environmental changes throughout the day…

Related: adding a soft key toggle function to ungang inputs (and outputs) by gang #. Press again to re-gang.
-
Adding a preference to toggle PFL to follow the Mix Select buttons. (the vertical ones on the RIGHT) You can get something LIKE it in the PAFL section, but it “goes away” as soon as you select a non-mix.

Related: a SEPARATE toggle option to have Select follow the Mix Select buttons. If I’m looking at Mix 5 and the drummer signals for some in mix 8,when I hit the Mix 8 button I’d also like to SEE it’s status. You already get this when looking at the GEQ screen, why not the other screens?
Thanks!
