Hi, 4x SQ4U users work faultlesly at live gigs then as soon as the mixpad gets turned on for sound eng. some or all SQ4U drop out. Mix pad goes off band members reconnect and all good again. SQ5 desk. TP LInk Archer 64 2.4/5, 2 x iphone, 2 x android, mix pad on windows surface.

How is the IP addressing set up on the mixer static or DHCP? Is the mixpad iPad set for static or DHCP IP addressing.
Maybe try connecting the iPad to the 5g WIFI and SQ4U users to the 2.4 WIFI.
What is the range of the DHCP IP addresses on the router? My guess is that there is an IP conflict when the iPad connects….just a wild guess!
Hi mikec. I think you are in the right area. We have tried pad on 5ghz and phones on 2.4 but same result. IP addressing is the default setting of DHCP and i thnik creating a static is where im going next. Thanks for the input!!
When you set up any static IP be sure to set up the router so it’s DHCP hand out range does not over lap the IP addresses that are set up as static.

Ive read a few posts (you seem to be the man in this area!) and feel initially I’m going to stick to DHCP and just check the basics first, ie every device is configured correctly. Unfortunately work load has stopped me getting anywhere near the desk these last few days but will give you an update probs at the weekend. As ever appreciate the help and may well be back with a few more questions about static ip address, if thats ok?
