Hi, I’m using my SQ5 as a sound card with my Mac Mini, but when I plug in the USB, a high-pitched, buzzing sound starts coming from it and it keeps beeping. Where am I going wrong?
How close is the computer to your console? What quality USB cable are you using? The buzzing sounds like interference that the cable is picking up between the console and the computer.
Or, another thought, are both devices connected to different mains power circuits?
If so, try plugging them both into the same power strip.
