When faders are stereo linked, the even number fader is blank and useless from what I’ve found. I’d love to be able to assign that unused fader to another input.
When you set up the bank of faders only assign the one fader of a stereo pair

If you have the mono channels already assigned on the surface of the console and then stereo link two mono channels together, you are correct that the right side channel will “disappear” from the console. However that “space” left in the surface is available to have something else assigned to it. You can “move” the rest of the channels over to the left to fill this blank space, but it has to be done manually (ie assigned each channel to it’s new location).
