Hi all,
I primarily use the CQ20B internal WiFi however I do have an external router connected in case of connection issues.
I’ve managed to switch between the two but not easily and I haven’t managed to consistently repeat the process.
Is there a tried and trusted method that can be followed and works every time.
Thanks
Gary
Yes the reset button short press is effectively just a toggle between Network and Wifi - Network Yellow, Wifi Blue. Press reset to get to the one you want release when you see your colour. I believe the Green is telling you the wifi and network connection data is already set so the short reset button toggle should switch. I believe it’s a longer reset button press to actually reconfigure the settings.
Hope this helps
Cheers
David
Opps I missed your reference to external router, I know nothing about those, but perhaps thats just the network connection.
I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work. Once I change to my external router, which is properly configured to dole out DHCP and such, when I connect my iPad to the external router, the CQ app cannot connect to the mixer ever AND I can’t change the mixer back to Wifi at all. Tapping the Reset button so it goes from green back to blue, the mixer’s Wifi network never appears as an option to connect. Restarting the mixer results in same behavior. Baffling! Only way to get back to mixer is a full reset of the Wifi then have to reconfigure everything again. Makes me weary live if I ever needed to use my emergency router. As a side note, I use the same router to connect other mixers and it works fine. The A&H is only one with this issue for me.
