tap tempo – BPM calculation method

Hi,

I bought a CQ-18T and added a BOSS FS 6 as a footswitch. I set the settings → foot switch → ring → Tap Tempo – FX2 Left & Right. (FX2 is “Beat Delay”)

Unfortunately, I found that it calculates tempo from the time elapsed between only 2 “taps”. ?
I would be very happy if this sampling would be at least 8 “taps” and calculate an average from that.
Now it is very difficult to adjust the BPM.
