A customer of mine have a AHM16 wich we installed a few years back. With their old projector (an old Mitsubishi) I could control on/off of the projector using a simple TCP command. I’ve since replaced the projector with a Vivitek D3660 wich only takes RS232 commands over Telnet. Does anyone have a solution to how to send these RS232/Telnet commands from the AHM16?
I don’t know about the ahm16 side of the problem but you can get IP to RS232 getaways. I just threw some out. I think mine were digi brand.
The ones I had needed drivers to install on windows which created virtual serial ports but you don’t need that if you just want telnet
It supports control over TCP/IP too.
The PJLink is used.
