There is no slider on the fader on feedback assistant screen in CQ mix pad 20b series

As I look through the user manual and various videos one of the last steps using the FBA is to adjust the slider to the right of the graph and controls. The meter is there with no fader to adjust it. I have loaded CQ mix pad on 2 iPads to no avail. I have followed all steps in the user manual. Am I missing something besides the slider? It just does not exist.

The CQ MixPad app is subtly different than the built-in touchscreen on the 18T and 12T models, and as I also have a 20B I’m also frequently surprised by things that are different in the manual.

The fader that controls output level is on the right side of the built-in touchscreen, but it’s below the FBA controls in the MixPad app. This way you actually get access to the output levels for all channels on the same page, which is a nice touch. Presumably this is possible / necessary because the app is a different aspect ratio than the built-in screen.

Thanks for the reply Kate. But I’m wondering, only the fader for the left right mains is on the lower right. So how do I control feedback to the 6 outputs if I’m using straight ahead powered monitors vs in ears? I’m getting feedback using those for monitors. I’m just frustrated because FBA was a main reason to purchase. Maybe should’ve gotten the 18.

If you have an Output channel selected on the Processing screen while using MixPad, then the fader at the bottom of the channel strip controls the overall output volume for that output, which remains visible after clicking on the FBA above on the strip to reveal the feedback assistant controls. Each Output channel has its own feedback assistant (presuming you have the EQ Type on the Config screen set to PEQ & FBA.)

In this example I have the SoloPA output selected with the FBA details shown, and the output level fader below those:

Thank you the visual pic does help explain it.

I did change my user name if you notice its different !
