"Touchscreen and Surface internal errors" w/ v2.02 and now "Mixrack internal error" 2.03

I recently updated my console to v2.02, and I like the new features updates added in v2 coming from v1.9a, albeit I do not have a UFX card.

However, I now have touchscreen and Surface internal errors in my logs during operations where the mix rack will disconnect all connected devices (director app and mix pad) and the surface, forcing me to restart the entire system.

To attempt to resolve this, I updated to v2.03, and now I get a “mixrack internal error” in my logs, and the surface and mixrack will freeze the screens and ballistics. Mixpad and director app will still be connected, but the mixrack settings will not change, and the surface freezes and is unresponsive, Again forcing me to restart the entire system.

I haven’t had this problem before with v1.9a, and I would hate to downgrade firmware, losing a bunch of work in my show file I did in the newer firmware. I have an important upcoming show, and I can not afford a freeze. Can anyone help!?

IMHO, this is definitely a situation where you should reach out to the “official” A&H support group. You do that through the main A&H website. This is more of a user forum and it is not the best way to contact the official support group.

Thanks. I did, and they said they hadn’t seen my problem before but recommended a “surface reset.” I was wondering if anyone the community seen this before. Thanks again.

try to start a new show. or if that is not possible, save and reload the show. Sometimes people trust too much on the firmware update and continue to use the desk after a firmware update without even loading the show again. I got a few of those, but dissapeared when reloading the show. the SHOW not a scene, a SHOW file.
