Track Reset/Copy in the config page

I would like to be able to reset a track completely from the config page and to copy/paste tracks from there
Example case:
I need to move channel 1 to channel two as I need to swap the microphones. Apart from having an input matrix at the moment I have to copy all the processing from the fader page then go to the config page and retype everything. Would be nice from the config page to do copy paste and then reset the old channel to default

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,

You can store and recall entire channels, including name, colour and preamp settings and all processing, using the CONFIG screen channel library.
Note that this library is also available in the PROCESSING screen, but when used there will only recall the processing for the channel.

If this doesn’t help, it’d be useful to know why it’s not possible/preferred to just mute the channels and switch the physical connections.

Thanks,
Keith.

Hi Keith,
I know there’s a copy/paste in the processing tab but it doesn’t copy:
1: THE TRIM/GAIN SETTINGS (and polarity)
2. the digital/analog settings
3. the 48v phantom
4. name/color

If I need to copy one channel exactly to another I have to set those settings by hand.
A Channel Preset is the current workaround that I’m using but is not quick
It happens to me often to have to swap channels while I’m setting the console up and a quick copy/paste or swap command would be useful

Another useful option would be to be able in MULTI-SELECT to be able to set the trim/phase/gain/color/stereo link settings

if possible, I am for the function of copying the channel, for example, on the qu version
