Uninstall Qu asio driver

When I click uninstall my computer says I do not have permission. See your administrator. I am the administrator.

I’m sure that I’ll leave this for those who are more computer savvy than me to provide an answer.

But more info on the computer in question, and its operating system would probably help…

ASIO/administrator - Im guessing some flavour of redmond OS.

The only safe way is to nuke it from orbit

Is it causing issues elsewhere?

My operating system is windows 10. I am trying to remove everything off of the computer I am going to use for office purposes. I have had to purchase another computer for USB B streaming. Without success I might add.

It’s going to sit there and not do anything, I’d not be worried about it.

Why did you even bother commenting if that’s the best you can come up with.

Go to the “Device Manager”, find the driver, right click, uninstall.

Thank you. I will try it when I get back.

Yep, I see a bright future ahead !

Because you’re struggling to do something that doesn’t actually need doing. You have thousands of unused device drivers installed on any given system… if it’s not causing an issue then ignoring it is an entirely sane course of action, and far simpler than any other possible course.

If the answer to the question ‘is it causing issues’ was anything other than silence my response would also have been different.

Windows 10 comes with quite a bit of extra stuff by default. Something like https://lubuntu.net/ is great if you really want to get away from the bloat of Windows.

Were you saying that the computer you bought for USB B streaming wasn’t working? What kind of problem were you having?

It’s not in device manager.

Which ‘It’?
You are using a USB2 port, not a USB3 one aren’t you?

I have both of my computer and have tried all three. I have two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0.

Go to C:\Program Files\Allen & Heath\QuUSBDriver and right click uninstall.exe. Select Run as Administrator.

Thank you.
