Thought I’d start a separate thread since the other one I started regarding MixPad is getting quite long.
Last night was my first opportunity to use the latest release of MixPad in a live show, and I’m happy to report I had no issues at all. No dropouts, no disconnects, no restarts. Hooray!
Thanks to A&H for listening to their customers and making the necessary changes to the MixPad code so that it works reliably.
I used the new of MixPad this weekend: I was running a T112 using the IDR16 (FOH), a laptop running editor off of a IDR48 (Mon), and an iPad for each of those systems respectively (iPad 2 and 3). All units where running and being used simultaneously multiple times throughout a 3 hour show. I NEVER saw even a blip of trouble, unlike before where I would have to restart both iPads several times throughout the gig.

Live sound is like a giant orange gorilla who wants to rip your face off, grab your faders and go to war!
I purposely let the iPad sit idle yesterday for our entire service and it stayed connected the whole time (2 hours). Were those app skins available before? I don’t remember seeing them…Will have another chance to test Tuesday during rehearsal.
Had two iPads and MacBook pro hooked up (no surface) and no problems. The iPads actually went to sleep quite a few times and worked uninterrupted when they were awoken. Good job A&H!!!
