URGENT: AHM 32 With DANTE 64 card Audio Transmit issue from other Dante devices

HI

I am having issue transmitting audio from Dante Wallplate to AHM 32 with Dante 64 card installed.

Equipment LIst:

  • AHM 32
  • DANTE64 V2
  • Attero Tech unDX2IO+
  • All dante products on same network,
  • Dante Controller Discovers them all,
  • Sample Rate is same for all Devices,
  • I am able to Subscribe Transmit and Receive channels from the wallplates to Dante Card.
  • Dante card is the leader,
  • Audio is not muted on Dante Controller,
  • Channels are assigned in the system Manager

But when i input audio at the wallplate i do not see it in System manager.

Any help would be really appreciated

Can you share screenshots of Dante Controller, please - show the “network view” tabs for Device Info, Clock Status and Network Status?

Does anything stands out Bcz I have done the same install before that worked with no issue but this time having issue so anything any shot in the dark would be helpful

1st thing that jumps out a me is that 2 of your devices have a .90 subnet and 2 have .91 subnet address.

Besides the obvious ip address subnet mismatch, have you also checked the settings for the Attero Tech unDX2IO+? It seems the XLR input preamp is switchable from line to mic. If it is set to line and you plug a mic in, it isn’t going to gain up the source enough to be heard.

I wonder if the subnet mismatch isn’t a thing - those addresses would be valid if the subnet mask is 255.255.0.0

This is where I would start. Can you dig into why the latency is out of tolerance for this device?
If this is a new install with fixed cables, it may be worth re-terminating the cable that goes to this device. It could be that it’s good enough to “work” but not good enough to work - I’ve seen that before.

Not that this would stop audio from passing, but if the AHM is set to Internal clock in System Manager, you want to select the ‘Enable Sync To External’ and ‘Preferred Leader’ for the Dante card in Dante Controller.

I would also recommend updating the card to the latest firmware version 1.0.4 as we have observed instances of latency issues resulting in muted audio. On that note, you say V2 card in your post but Dante Controller thinks it’s a V3 card, worth double checking the version on the front panel.

So changed the Subnets so everything is on .90 network. Still was having issues.

Did a master restart with each and everything included whether part of the equation or not once everything came back online. Audio started flowing with no Latency issues Dante card being the leader

Will update the card.

And you are right the distributor said and is written on the invoice V2 but Dante sees V3 will confirm once on site today.
