USB 3.2 gen 2 compatibility

Hi All,

My first post. In the list of verified flash drives for recording/playback on the QU-16, I see numerous entries for USB 3.0 and USB 3.1. I see only one entry for USB 3.2 and it is gen 1. I am looking to buy a 512 GB USB 3.2 gen 2 flash drive for 16-track recording. I have three questions, please:

  1. Is the QU Drive port on the QU-16 compatible with USB 3.2 gen 2?
  2. Can the QU-16 operating system format a USB 3.2 gen 2 flash drive?
  3. I know 522GB is more than large enough; will the QU-16 operating system permit a continuous 5-hour, 16-track recording?

  1. Generally yes, but there’s no guarantee that every one will work.

  3. You can record your 16 tracks continuously for a good 8 hours.
