Hello everyone, I utilize my mixer as an audio interface for my iPad, allowing me to play music through the device. The audio is routed via the USB B connection to my SQ5, which is fantastic. However, the mixer does not support charging. Is there a solution available, such as an external charger, that would enable simultaneous charging? Currently, I have to charge the iPad separately, and it would be ideal if both functions could occur at the same time.
If it’s a Lightning iPad, Apple’s USB3 to Lightning dongle has a charge port.
Search Amazon (or the internet) for a USB and lightning adapter. This will allow you to connect the USB and also charge with the lightning connector at the same time. I am using one for this purpose but I have an ethernet connector instead of USB.
