Very quiet auxiliary channel xone 43c

Hi,

I’ve just received a brand new xone 43c and tested the aux channel against the other channels using the same records and turntable but I find that it is much quieter in this channel. I have to max out the gain, and eqs to get it to a level that is acceptable

Is this by design?

I had a response from support.
In case anyone is interested

The Aux channel on Xone:43C is a line-level input. It does not offer RIAA equalization for vinyl playback from a turntable. Line-level come from devices such as CD players, mobile phones/MP3 players,s, etc.
