Virtual Soundcheck - double patching

Hello there dear A&H,

I have been getting incredible results with my Avantis Solo on tour. However, I rely heavily on virtual soundcheck, which for some reason doesn’t allow double soft-patching channels like you do with live signals from Slink.

I always have my Bass double copied / double patched on 2 channels and split my toms as well. This is not a problem with Slink of course, but every time I switch to Virtual Soundcheck I have to manually patch Bass and Toms + other copies using the Preamp section on each channel. And then back to Slink.

This becomes quite tedious when I have up to 7 such copies.

I am sure it’s an easy fix, make it double path like Slink, pretty please?

I completely agree that it would be nice if A&H allowed double patching with VSC. It’s disappointing and not logical IMHO that you can’t double patch in VSC given how all the other routing works.

The DLive system works the same way when it comes to VSC patching (double patching is not allowed), but at least it also offers the ABCD input assignment options. This effectively offers a “work around” to this double patching limitation with VSC. Unfortunately the Avantis doesn’t have the same ABCD input assignment options and so there really isn’t an effective workaround.
