So the last 2 gigs I’ve had the same thing happen on startup of my iDR32 - when I open Editor or MixPad I get redlines on nearly every meter (channels 9 onwards & most of the mix channels) with no inputs present, and no odd routings. When I shut it down and restart it the issue disappears - just wondering if anyone else has seen this? I’m running 1.82, and haven’t changed anything else lately to account for it.
Hopefully someone on here has seen it and can put my mind at rest, otherwise I’m obviously going to contact support as I’d hate for it to NOT come good after a reboot on a gig!!!
I recently had a problem with the IDR16. the R72 surface was connected and at startup ch 1-8 showed full metering into the red. i tried to reload a show but the IDR didn’t respond anymore.
I shut it down an on reboot the idr wouldn’t boot anymore. some message ’ boot failure ’
I don’t want to alarm you and i don’t know if it is a similar problem but they had to replace the main board. It was gone
Yes - support time!! The only time I’ve seen meters go on full to red at boot up and then the “boot failure” message on restart was when my mix rack died and needed a new main board. It’s definitely not a good sign Adam!!! This happened before A&H recalled units for the main board modification which hopefully prevents the cause of that failure happening again.
