What sample rate is used for an SQ7's Local Inputs when running an AR2412 via SLink

Hi there gang!

I can’t seem to find clear any information on this so apologies if it’s already been answered anywhere.

I understand that if you plug both a DX and AR stage rack into the desk, the desk processes all data at the lower 48k sample rate.

But if I plug analogue inputs into Local Ins on an SQ7, and run an AR2412 via the SLink, does the desk then also process the analogue lines at 48k?

You can’t combine DX and AR at the same port.

Processing is always 96kHz.

Thank you! I think I’d misinterpreted what I was reading and it led me to believe that the processing gets throttled when using lower sample rate devices. It makes sense to me now that it upsamples the 48k data and leaves everything else untouched.
