Where does the me-1 pick off its signals from an SQ6?

We are using SQ6 and some ME-1s. I would like to know how much the SQ affects what the musicians hear - for example if I pan the stereo on the mixer does the ME-1 stereo move around? Does the ME-1 pick off after the Preamp section on the SQ (so gain, trim and polarity are affected). Or can it be changed? If its in the manual please send me a link. Many thanks

In theory, if you place the IEMs on a different mix from the IEMs, I believe the PANing control will affect the IEMS… *if* they are post fader and in stereo, but most IEMs are mono and possibly pre-fader, so those won’t be affected… how are your your IEMs set up, in stereo or in mono, pre or post fader?

???

Normally not. You can define what signal the ME system is getting.
Keep in mind, the ME-1 is a 48 input mixer in its own.

You can change it!

In the I/O screen you can see the ME as a target under Outputs and Tie Lines.
The TAB Direct Outs should hold the default patch for the ME system.

The position for the Direct Outs in the signal flow is changeable via Routing screen.

You can provide some preconfigured mixes as a confident starting point for the musicians. Like drums without the snare, for example …
